Intuitive?
The Department of Politics and International Relations sent us a message: this is rather beautiful.
"The Manor Road building will be closed to visitors from 4.30pm – 7.30pm on Thursday 4th November for the official Opening ceremony."
Maybe it'll be open for the closing ceremony, to compensate....

How come you get a dpeartment of politics and international relations? Your post reminded me that I am sadly lacking in departments generally and politics deparments particularly.
It's probably something to do with either elitism or the decline of British universities... What I would like to know is why IR gets picked out for special treatment, when the rest of the sub-divisions get subsumed under politics, what makes IR less politics than the rest of it?
