South Dakota Governor Signs Abortion Ban
It’s a deliberate challenge to Roe ‘v’ Wade, with an exception for saving the mother’s life, not for safe-guarding her health, not for rape, not for incest… Those latter victims are advised to take the morning after pill, which South Dakota chemists can refuse if they disagree with it. The law will be challenged by the pro-choice/anti-life/pro-death lobby, with the pro-life/anti-choice lobby hoping it will provoke the legal fight that will remove abortion rights throughout the US. At present in SD women must wait 24 hours before an abortion, and must inform their parents, with no exception for incest.
